AnG 3 – Soko Klima, Stadt gestalten mit Plan. Parallel to developing the Campus Efeuweg project, the Chair for Urban Design and Urbanization teamed up with kubus TU Berlin, UfU e.V. Berlin and ifeu Heidelberg. Funded by the Ministry of Environment, the project Soko Klima developed a toolbox to teach climate conscious urban development and participation for first and second grade education. How can design impact the way we life in cities and respectfully use our resources? How can kids and teenagers engage in the design and the politics of the urban? The toolbox was developed on the basis of the workshops held and experiences gained during the Akademie’s Campus Efeuweg project.

The first image shows part of the material of the toolbox. The second image is a snapshot of the design workshop of the Walt-Disney school and Liebig school common schoolyard.
